The most anticipated show of the year for me, which did not disappoint. 2 days of beautiful weather and goods times with new and old friends also added to the excitement.
The event was also the last public display of the U.S. Navy's F-14 Tomcat.
The L-39 Albatross opened the show both days. Interesting paint scheme, which makes for great photographic opportunities!
E-2C Hawkeye
The Navy performed the fleet aircraft demonstration. Aircraft of the fleet demonstrated tactical bombing operations. F-14B Tomcats from VF-32 "Swordsman", F/A-18C Hornets from VFA-136 "Nighthawks" and F/A-18F Super Hornets from VFA-211 "Checkmates" participated. An impressive and rare display of Naval Aviation at work and at it's finest.
