Oceana 2006 was another fantastic airshow. A final farewell to the F-14 Tomcat. Unfortuneately, the Admiral in charge would not let the 'Cats "tear it up" one last time. The word around the O-Club Sunday was that because the 'Cats were retiring in a couple weeks the Admiral wanted the Tomcats to do their show and land to avoid any possible problems. But at least we got to see the Tomcat in the air one final time.
The weather cooperated for another year, and the USN/USAF/Civilian performers did not disappoint the tens of thousands of fans.
